The Woodside Falconry & Conservation Centre is an entertaining day out. Part farm park - there are chickens, sheep, goats and the like - and part falconry centre, there's usually something to see. There is an indoor 'tropical paradise', which might be pushing things a little, but at least it's under cover and warm. Pig racing is fun. Birds of prey flying displays are entertaining, but wrap up warmly - the display area is quite exposed. The centre is closed over the winter (Oct - Feb). There is fishing available. The canteen on site is friendly but limited in choice. The staff appear to be knowledgeable and interested. There are limited play facilities - tramponline and climbing frames, etc. Was very much appreciated by Lucy (2 1/2)
