We had Sunday lunch at The Packsaddle recently and what a pleasant change the place has undergone. Friendly faces being the main thing and very good food. A large safe childrens play area and lawn and lots of parking. Very good.

Excellent home cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere.
They have a really good childrens play area outside and large garden/patio which is great in the summer.
There is a separate restaurant (the bar is smoking though so avoid with the children!) make sure if you are booking you request non smoking.
They have high chairs and a children’s menu (not sure about changing facilities as didn’t need to change any nappies!!!)
The Chef and owner Ashley worked previously for the famous Brian Turner at his restaurant in Walton Street in London.
