Departures area is terrible for trying to feed young kids. Nowhere will heat food in a microwave - one place would only after much hassling, heat the food in boiling water but as it was chicken it was a non starter. If possible leave from Glasgow!

There are childrens play units (Fingerbox) near Gates 2, 4, 9 and 11, and some entertainment for children is provided in the family area of the first floor Food Village.
There are four baby change rooms at Edinburgh airport. Before security, there is one by Costa in the UK and Ireland arrivals area. After security there are baby change rooms by Gate 11 and on the first floor by Books etc.
For arriving passengers there is a babycare room in international baggage reclaim.
