They have a great Christmas special here, where you follow the path through the woods spotting stockings hanging in the trees to find Santa at the end. My four-year old thought it was fantastic! The walk was not too long and not hilly.

Owned by the Forestry Commission, the Bwlch Nant yr Arian centre is set in a stunning lakeside setting overlooking the Melindwr Valley with the Ceredigion coastline in the distance.
The main attraction here is the red kites, they have feeding sessions at 3.00 pm in the summer (2.00 pm in winter) by the lake where you can few up to a hundred kites at one time.
If you fancy a walk, there are paths: Lakeside Trail suitable for all ages, for wheechairs and pushchairs
Short Circular Walk 1.5miles
Long Circular Walk - 5.5 mile
There are also three mountain bike trails here - ranked among the best in Britain - and two bridle paths (5miles and 23 miles).
In June 2005, an impressive visitor centre was opened overlooking the lake. There's also a tearoom for refreshments, a small gift shop and two wooden outdoor play areas for children which are very impressive. Inside there are two tables with large jigsaws, colouring for the little ones.
There is baby changing within the disabled loos.
Parking is £1.
Highly recommend visiting this stunning centre.
