Enjoyed a meal here in family section, nice kids menu and some healthy drink choices and fruit bags within meal deal (£2.95) and you can get stuff for colouring in. Food always comes quickly and staff are very friendly with children. Noticed they have about 12 decent wood high chairs. Clean large toilets upstairs.

I take my kids to Wetherspoons regularly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We sit anywhere but in the actual bar area and they can watch the trains come and go. Often go with other friends and their children when waiting to catch a train back home (student life - ah). Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Toilets upstairs but nice and loads of carpeted floor space for nappy changing and a sofa for breast-feeding - really not the ususal dirty, grotty experience I have been accustomed to in the past. Good choice on menu, food usually excellent plus crayons etc to keep kids happy - our number 1 choice for the family.

Enjoyed visit to wetherspoons at 6pm, we placed our order pretty quickly as it was starting to get busy and food was no more than 15 minutes. Our son really enjoyed his meal and saw someone he knew there so he was very excited about that. The staff were friendly enough. Couldn't find downstairs loo so took son upstairs to large ladies bathroom and he enjoyed telling everyone that he was going to be a fireman and footballer when he grows up, obviously flirting starting at a very early age.

Children can eat here up to 8.00 pm i think it said in front of the pub in non smoking area. We didn't ask for colouring things as we'd taken our own things with us for entertainment.

Good place to eat if you go early with children, we went at 12.00 and were served within 10 minutes. They had a good kids menu for 2.95 which had various choices and a drink. Extra for deserts Atmosphere was fine and stress free. They provide activity packs of sheets and pencils.

There is baby changing downstairs. this is the converted old station so you can pop and watch trains before or after if you have any small budding train enthusiasts.
