Reviews and details of facilities:

We took Lucy (almost 2) on the North Yorks Moors Railway in June 2005. She wanted a go on a "choo choo". There were baby changing facilities at Grosmont Station at least - this is the Whitby end of the line. The line is quite interesting for adults and Lucy at least enjoyed looking at the animals from the window. The trains we rode on were clean and the staff, friendly. The only down side of it - and this is hardly a fault of the railway - is that going the whole length of the line is an hour each way, which is a long time for a child.
