We moved to Rickleton three years ago and discovered this park then...it is just so fantastic to have such good facilities like this on your doorstep! It's quite a large park with beautiful floral displays etc which is great for walks,and the river is very scenic.Feeding the ducks and swans is lovely with young children and the childrens play area is very impressive as is the big paddling pool with fountain.The picnic area near the snack bar is clean as are the toilets.CCTV adds to the feeling of safety and the park itself is staffed by gardners etc.An icecream van is always near the childrens play area and the overall state of the park is very high ie no dog mess/rubbish etc.All in all we feel this is a safe environment for children to play,especially as the main roads are not nearby.

A lovely park suitable for all ages. The river runs through it and there are a number of signposted walks. There is a great play area for children and a paddling pool open in the summer. A cafe, loos and a changing room all help to add to an easier like. We like to feed the ducks - food available from the cafe if you forget some!
