The Hampstead heath youth hostel is a great base for London without being stuck in the hub of it all. The hostel is near Golders Green Tube so there are plenty of tubes to get you in which takes about 20 minutes. There is a nice garden with a wendy house. There are family rooms and there are self catering facilities if you want to cook yourself or use of a self service restaurant.
Under 3’s are welcome at this hostel.
