I visited the Swettenham Arms with my family for their Halloween night, which was really funny with the kids and the went back for firework night. We've eaten there a few times now. Best value is at their early diner time,(you get 50% off) and the kids have their own menu.

This is a great pub with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff who are very amenable with fussy children.
They have a very healthy children's menu - things like spagetti with meatballs, roast beef or turkey and choice of accompaniment, pasta etc, Not a chicken nugget in sight. They have highchairs, changing facilties and will sort out food/bottles warming.
They have a nice outside area so when its warm it is good to eat outside so that the kids aren't pinned to their seats if they don't want to be!
