Excellent place to shop and keep little ones entertained. There is a play area, fab cafe with freshy squeezed smoothies with a full size train by the side. They also have those little shopping cars with buggies on the front for the little ones. Lots of open space.
It's a real fantastic place just to visit and look at, my little boy thinks its even more cool that my partner was one of the architects that converted the building.

The Great Western Designer Outlet Centre is no doubt a great place to shop. My husband and I with our 6 weeks old baby went there the first time last weekend. It was a very enjoytable shopping experience for adults. The child facilities are good in general; however, I must point out that there isn't enough seperate breastfeeding facilities within the centre although breastfeeding is welcome in most of the open spaces.(May be this is only me I'm just too shy) Furthermore the nappy changing facility is a really let down, we noticed that a couple of the changing units have been badly damaged. My husband found a gents toilet with changing facility but it was installed right next to the main door which was very inconvience to both the baby and people who comes in the toilet. Overall, great shopping offering and a lot of rooms for improvements in the baby caring side.

What makes the Great Western Outlet Centre unique is its setting in the restored Victorian buildings of the Great Western Railway works. A rare collection of overhead cranes, adorn the malls while a large central food court is dominated by a Great Western locomotive most recently Hagley Hall, whose sister locomotive features in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, hauling the Hogwarts Express.
They have a really good children's play area with a starbucks right next to it where you can grab a drink.
To find the outlet centre simply follow the brown tourist information road signs to the 'Outlet Centre'. Very close to the museum.
