Cae Bach playground is a great playground with some really interesting and fun play equipment all in good condition with cushioned floors. The only downside is that they have knocked the toilets down so it is a really hike to get to loos if your toddler needs to go! Only marked down because of lack of loos!

One of the better playgrounds in Aberystwyth in my opinion (the other one being next to the castle grounds). Swings for all ages from babies upwards (they have "baby bouncer" shaped swings for babies!), and plenty to keep older children busy too, with some pretty funky slides, climbing frames and merry-go-rounds (one for older children and one for toddlers). The park itself is nice, although it is just a long corridor of green leading to the schools and then to plascrug leisure centre. There is also a path just beyond the park that goes over the railway and onto the main road. The toilet block has now been knocked down, meaning that the nearest public toilets are either in the leisure centre, or on Park Avenue by Somerfield. I walk through it a lot as an alternative to the main road, as it's a quieter, more scenic route. Towards town there are exits from the park that lead to the retail park (Argos, Iceland, Lidl and BWise at the far end), a residential area and the main exit which leads to Alexander Road (currently blocked due to construction work).

This park is on Ffordd Alexandra (Road) just beyond the railway station retail area. This is a great place for small children to cycle. The fenced playground is very well equipped and appeals to all ages. Note that the toilet in the park is closed. If you follow the lane at the end of the park you come to the swimming pool.
