BIG SCREAM! UPDATE

Having now seen how a larger number of parents/babies/buggies move through the building we have decided to make a few changes for the next BIG SCREAM! screenings.

Parents will be encouraged to use the Bar area BEFORE the screening to congregate, socialise and enjoy a coffee or tea. The Bar is shut to normal members of the public at this time so feel free to spread out and use the space!

However, we will now ask parents to leave the buggies in front of the kiosk area, to prevent congestion at the entrances to the screens upstairs. Although this will mean if you need anything during the film, you will have to come back downstairs, this does eliminate waiting for the lift on both the way in and out of the cinema. We will make sure a member of staff is stationed at the Kiosk to keep an eye on the buggies, but please feel free to take your bags into the screen.

We will also create a space on the Mezzanine level for parents who wish to change their babies, or give them a feed, during or after the films. Again, this space is limited, but should provide a more comfortable and more private area for you to use. Changing mats will be provided in this area, which will reduce demand on the unit situated in the Disabled Toilet.

As the Bar is open to the general public after the screening (and babies are not permitted in the Bar during normal licensed hours), those parents who wish to stay on at the cinema after the screenings are welcome to make use of the Kiosk area for coffee, soft drinks, or crepes, which can be ordered at the bar.

We hope you find these changes will make an improvement to this popular scheme, but please do let us know your thoughts and any suggestions you may like to make.
