Good for 3+ as there are activities associated with nearly every exhibit - learn to play noughts and crosses like the Romans, colour in pictures of animals, etc. Besides, if you're coming to Reading you should see something other than the shops! ;) There is an organic fair trade cafe associated with the museum as well. Baby facilities are adequate.
