The shop is open but the museum is currently closed for refurbishment and updating. Reopens Autumn 2007.

Compared to the Science Museum it came not even close. Not only does one need to pay entrance, it does not really have a lot of interesting activities for (young) children to entertain themselves. It has tried, but not very successfully.

The Transport Museum is great for little boys that love cars, buses, trains etc. We went and our three sons thought it was the bees knees!!! They also have a boat exhibition which they enjoyed also. Very child friendly.
