Fab place to visit with the family. You could spend days looking at exhibits on the different floors and watching IMAX films. We saw a film on bugs and one which had simpsons and antz characters in which were fascinating. (you pay to go in the imax)
There are plenty of toilets and baby changing facilties on each floor. There are five areas you can eat and you can eat your own food in either mega-bite picnic area on the first floor, or it may be consumed at the Eat Drink Shop, or the Gallery Café.
The science museum is nearest to south kensington tube and they are open 10 - 6 every day. Admission to the museum is free, but charges still apply for the IMAX, SimEx Simulator Ride and simulators as well as for some special exhibitions.
