The concept is good, sadly the execution leaves much to be desired. The premises were under staffed resulting in pressure on the front desk which in turn means that security was lax at best and shambolic at worst. Staff were surly and unhelpful either as a result of the pressure they're under or due to poor management (I would suggest the latter). The play area, in particular the infant ball pond displayed poor levels of cleanliness and was looking worn and tired. The selection available at the cafe was limited and disappointing and the baby changing facilities, almost unbelievably for such an establishment, were sub-standard. Give this one a miss.

Kids@N20 has made a huge comback if you ask me.
The prices have gone down and the atmpsphere 100%improved. They do meals for both adults and children, children's meals also inculde a drink and carrot and cucumber sticks or sweet corn, plus the children can have either ice cream or fruit for dessert. great idea!
There is a changing room, and the door close perfectly. There are gates all around with locks out of reach of children so it is safe.
The staff are very friendly and understanding of mine and my childrens needs.
The play area is always clean and they even have music entertainment to watch while your children play or a newspaper or magazine to read.
Very nice place and i go regularly

What a turn around! The new Kids@N20 (its under new management) is a delight for parents and adults alike. The staff are friendly and the table service at the cafe makes for a very relaxed environment, I could sit back and read the papar while my 4 kids played in the soft safe play area. It was a great place to socialise with other parents and was very affordable too as there are many discounts available when there are children under 4 or if you bring more than one child. The membership scheme also encourages saving. What was great was the age limit for the play area is 11 so all my kids could participate. As they hold parties I will considder it for my child's birthday. Oh and i musn't forget, there was a car park! Just what us parents need.

The idea of the place is great and first inpressions are very good.
That said, i've met friends there a few times and each time i've been very disappointed with some aspect. Firstly the baby changing room, which is so small that you can't close the door when the table is down - which means holding baby and all until well inside. Plus the table itself is right under the window, and with no heating it's baltic. My son was so cold he cried.
Then there's the air conditioning. We complained to staff that someone was sneakily smoking (not good with many mums bringing tiny baby siblings) but they told us that the air from the pub section often gets vented in there by mistake.
Finally, the security is a bit lax when the place gets busy. I've only ever signed in once, and that was my idea - i've never been asked - and I guess I should be grateful but often i've walked in without paying. It's easy enough when there is one totally unsupervised entry/exit gate. I keep a close eye on him as it's often chaotic with so many large and small types running around. I'm not going back.

An indoor playground with a cafe in it. It has child-sized tables and chairs as well as normal sized ones for adults. They serve "happy meal" type boxes with a choice of hot food (chicken nuggets, fish nugget type things, sausages etc) or cold food (a selection of sandwiches), all come with crisps or fries, a muffin and a carton drink. There are toys for the children to play with such as table football, crayons and paper, kids magazines and really cute kids chairs shaped like hands. There is also of course the playground which is basically a soft play area with a maze, climing areas, ballpool etc, all secure and safe. For adults there are magazines and newspapers as well as a selection of food such as hot and cold sandwiches, baked potatoes, salads, coffees and teas and cakes. More of these sort of places would be great around the UK.
