I didn't find any play equipment, just arcade with a rocket in it in Terminal 1. Didn't encounter anybody smoking so that was good and place seemed clean and tidy. Didn't see baby change facilities but wasn't looking for them. The toilets were very dirty and we ended up using disabled facilities for my toddler to use.

I recently visited terminal 1. I had a good look around the departure lounge, this was full of people smoking and was consequently somewhere you'd not want to linger with children.
Next to Costa Coffee is a children's play area, which was rather sparsely equipped. It consisted of a TV showing cartoons and a small playhouse. When I visited it, it contained 2 children looking decidedly bored!
Changing facilities are basic but functional.
