Although not a kids menu they made our son 2 sausages and beans and were very friendly. There isn't any changing facilities in loos but if you have your own mat you can put on floor in bathroom to change. High chairs are clean.
Nice environment and good to look at rabbits etc afterwards.

This place has been taken over and although they have 2 high chairs they don't appear to offer a children's menu anymore. They serve things such as filled baguettes, jacket potatoes which are really nice so if your child likes that sort of thing then that's fine, having said that we went for a cup of coffee and our son enjoyed a milk shake and a cake. Downside is still no baby changing facilities but they cafe is much nicer now that they have changed furniture.

As always a nice place to visit, only disappointment is that they don't have baby changing facilities so it was a case of emptying contents down loo and changing son standing up which isn't the easiest of things to do and loo area is pretty cramped! Rest of the place makes up for this downfall in facilities but would be nice if they could at least have something on offer if they truely want to be child/baby friendly.

A bonus of the cafe here is that you order and then they bring everything over to your table so if you are a single parent it is incredibly useful. The staff are also incredibly attentive to children. The children's menu isn't the greatest - processed food but they do make some nice home made cakes etc.
In terms of the garden centre and pet area itself it is good, never had a problem with the fish bought here, always been fine, I tend to buy the live ones rather than the dead ones ;-)

Lovely to visit with the children. Mine like to run around outside if it's nice and look at all the plants. If we're buying anything my oldest likes to push the trolley-thing.
Indoors there are lots of fish, rabbits, birds, hamster, chinchillas etc, although some days you might find there isn't much there - this has happened to us occasionally - although there is always fish.
Haven't used the restaurant for much more than buying ice lollies / ice creams and juice, but the staff are always very friendly.
As far as I know there is no baby changing facility - just one toilet each for ladies and gents. This is why I'm only giving it a 3/5 - otherwise would have given it 4/5.
One thing I would say - though not really related to child-friendliness is that I would recommend you be careful if buying fish here, as there are often dead fish floating in some of the tanks.

This garden centre is great to visit with little ones on a rainy day (or even a nice day) they have lots of fish to look at and bunnies, birds and hamsters etc.
They have a restaurant which has a kids menu and they will warm up your baby food for you or provide you with hot water to warm up milk etc. There is a nice clean high chair available. The choice of kids food is things like chicken shaped as a plane, with beans and chips, sausages etc and is £3. Nice food for the parents too at reasonable prices. Not sure of toilet/changing facilities as never needed them.
