on entering the park when paying at the kiosk i asked if i had to pay for my 2yr old and asked me if he was under 2 to which i said he was 2, she flipped her hands in the air and just scowled at me which really peed me off, on entering the park after about 1hr was ready to leave, its just full of tired old manaquin type things that make it quite spooky and look like they came from the 1960S,the 4 or so crummy rides on offer are not worth queing for, theres no attempt to clean, paint or just try and repair it just looks, sounds and feels like its just been let run down, its really mind bending with all the weird manaquins and not in a good way, the kids play areas were ok but these are things we go to for free or a couple of pounds, it was a really freaky odd rundown place in my opinion and would not return if it was free, my 4 year old on leaving said gullivers in matlock is loads better and that says it all.

.DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO to Sundown Adventure Land EVER! This is without doubt the strangest dirtiest and out and out waste of time and money you will ever experience. I took my four year old today for his birthday and will never go again even though I live only 15 minutes away. After desperately trying to have a good time for 2 hours we decided to complain and got to see the owner. She not only refused to acknowledge any of our complaint or give us a refund but when I said I would right a bad review she merely said 'well at least we will get publicity'!!!!
The rides are rubbish the mannequins are peeling and dirty and the other attractions are outdated and grubby. You would be better off taking your family to a free park than wasting your petrol even driving to this place.
DO NOT GO!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic. Cannot reccomend it enough for little ones (my child is just 3). A place in Britain that isn't crumbling, isn't past its best and is good value for money. Will go again and again as there's so much to see/do.

Fantastic place for the littleones, a lot of money has gone into this place and it shows, so much to see and do its untrue. Great day out. the only negative thing i would say about it is the cafe in the wildwest area, was pokey, cramped, very very slow service and stressed. Take a picnic if you can.

This is a park specifically designed for under 10s, there are lots of rides based on nursery rhymes and books in the story book village so a good learning experience. There are various rides, some not suitable for the very young. The tractor ride always goes down very well with our 5 year old. We had a fun morning here and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

Sundown is specially designed for the young families and is not suitable for teenagers. Fantastic time had by my 2 little ones. There are wooden playgrounds, and assault course type things for slightly older ones and loads for tots. It costs £6.50 for anyone aged 2 or over. Loads of places to run about, picnic, sand pits, etc.
