Reviews and details of facilities:

The pub is I think under new management - the attitude towards babies is in my experience extremely friendly. A group of us used to go there weekly after baby yoga for lunch and there was extremely friendly service, breastfeeding going on left right and centre, babaies being propped on the bar, changed on the spare tables, and as the months went on, lots of messy finger food being flung about - all fine. Jethro and his wife are really nice (and the food is too, very reasonable too). The formal facilities aren't great but there's lots of room for buggies (entrance at the side) and lots of good will, which more than makes up for it.

This pub used to be a lot more child-friendly than it is now. Children are tolerated but all the things there used to be for them to do have been removed from the garden so they can fit more tables in (i.e. no more rabbits, no more wendy house, no more model railway (that was going back a few years!)

This is a nice family-friendly pub. it's a non-smoking pub and kids are welcome inside as well as in the nice garden which also has some playing facilities.

The menu is not huge, but the quality is excellent for pub food standards.

Highly recommended

It is a very friendly pub, but children are not allowed in the main part of the pub - only the garden and the annex (which is under cover). The rabbits are no more, alas!

A great pub for the family. There is no smoking at all allowed in here and mobile phones are also banned :-) There are also no fruit machines or pool tables.

In the garden there is a rabbit enclosure and wendy house to keep children occupied while you are waiting for your food which is home cooked and very tasty. They also serve ales from local brewers also.
