Great beach for families. Just be careful with sea, no swimming is allowed due to under currents being extremely strong so stick to paddling only.
The visitor centre is fantastic, they have loads of things to fiddle with and see and during the summer they have hands on activities at specific times. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great place to go when the sun is too hot to cool down and have fun.
Outside there is a weird and wonderful viewing bridge point made out of wood. Our son loved going along all the boardwalks pretending it was a train track!
Marked 1 down as lack of baby changing facilities.

Fab beach for all the family, plenty of parking, cost £1 to get in. Toilets and visitor centre with educational displays on left after gone into car park. Toilets are great fun because they have paintings on the wall that show what happens to the water when you flush!!!!
Fantastic expansive beach for all the family, loads of beautiful sand and sheltered dunes. Loads of room to play cricket, dig and make sand castles, flying kites. Just be careful of currents in the sea, don't go out too far! Also there aren't any baby changing facilities within the toilets which is a minus side. The other thing is the best part of the beach is a walk through the sanddunes over boardwalks which can be a bit tiring but it is well worth it when you get over there
