We LOVE Brockwell Park - it's a huge, hilly open space, with a great kids' playground, a lovely 1 o'clock club (open 1-4pm on weekdays), a paddling pool in summer, an outdoor lido and more. The cafe is inexpensive and situated in the big manor house at the top of the hill, and while it's fine for kids, the food isn't terrific. However, there are lots of tables outside with room for children to roam and parents to chat (or roam too).

Excellent place to go in the summer, they have playground facilities which are very new, an open air swimming pool/ paddling pool, walled garden, ponds and ducks, That's lots of land to have picnics. There are also loads of facilities for under 5's, including baby massage/yoga. There is a club called Whippersnappers which have all sorts of wonderful activities to keep little ones busy.
