The Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Wisley is a great day out - easy to park, lots of space and stunning surroundings to walk in. The garden has worked hard to become very family friendly and the staff are all very keen to get kids involved in gardening and green activities. There are lots of free family activities at particular times in the year, especially during school holidays. If you're an RHS member then you get unlimited free entry, so you only need go five times a year to get a great return on the fee. Also, the Wisley cake selection is to die for! There is an enclosed breastfeeding area in the Glasshouse cafe and rumours of a 'green play area' to come soon.
