I take my children to duckies every week, and yes its alittle more expensive than other places but its unlimited play (wacky doesnt offer that) i think the food is a reasonable price...you get a decent portion for your money as with the kids meals...yes McDonalds would be a cheaper but why would you wanna do that when you can stay at the centre and get a bigger portion for your kids to eat and get to back to play after their finished! i've seen lots of improvement since it opened, there are ride on bikes now and a home corner so there isnt just the eqipement now my kids have plenty of choices.Theres lots of new faces in the staffing but ALL are pleasant, cheerful and have always made my kids welcome by playing hide and seek and such games when i'm there on days that they are quiet, i think the change of staff is just what the place needed. From the signs up in there it seems they also do activity clubs in the week to for children who dont attend school yet!! Overall i think the place is clean and tidy and safe and the staff give 110% everyday to get food orders out as quick as they possibly can and they are always approachable if you do need to tell them anything. Has i see it the place is improving and look forward to seeing it reach its full potential. keep up the good work to all the duckies staff.

Been to Duckie's last week and i have to say things have changed. they have an area now for toddlers and activities on daily. when we got there teh children were sat having a teddy bear picnic and although we were late my child got invited over to join them. we even had fun doing a teddy bear picture afterwards. staff were helpfull and informative. i will be returning again.

I love Duckie’s Play Pen I went recently and was told there will be activities held in toddler sessions in the next few weeks, which sound brilliant as that’s when I normally visit Duckie’s!
My son loves the fun equipment and the food. Staff are lovely and always cheerful. I will always stick with Duckie’s Play Pen, and the prices are reasonable considering it’s an independent business!
I particularly like attending Duckie’s because it’s so clean and the equipment is kept clean, which is the most important.
I think it’s a shame how certain people highlight the complaints. In my opinion Duckie's deserve more credit and compliments as they do the best to make your visit the best and also want the best for the children. So if you ask me that’s all that matters!

People are so quick to moan and to talk about things that they know nothing about! Ive been here several times and have found the staff very freindly/ Staff are new but give people a chance we all start somewhere in life. If you have a problem why not say. This place is lovely, yes its quite but sometimes it better than other places. This is clean, safe and freindly alot better than others ive been to in the past. This place is starting to have activities for the younger children in the day which i will be attending with my two children. Offers are presented regular and i even recieved a half price ticket when i attened a party i went to last week. Lovely staff keep going as i for one enjoy this place.

Been a few times since it opened last year
Nothing new added in 12 months and nothing different for toddlers to play with.
I went last weekend all new people who did not know what they were doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not surprised it went bust the foods expensive and theres never any one in during the week you will not see me going in there again.
The baby changing needs to be moved and emptied more often its not very nice changing your baby with the smell of nappies.

fun area to play in and safe. the staff are friendly and it soea get busy. there is a small wait for food but what do you expect when every thing is cooked from fresh. chips are not fried, and everything is home made that can be made. Worth the money as there is no time limit. staff are happy to help and smile. well worth the travel. i would go time and time again.

i went here for my work experience in 2009 and it is actually a very nice place. sometimes the food takes a while because its busy and sometimes the coffee takes a while because the coffee machine has an attitude problem. i think the play equipment is quite good really and they are apparantly getting some new stuff soon and you can pay and stay till 6. the staff are nice as well because most people judge me on what i wear and dont like me because i can think for myself but they didnt so if any of them are reading this im missing you all xxx

I usually go to Leaps and Boubds in Leek, but a friend told me about this place as it was fairly new. Its not worth the petrol to get there. A hold load of nothing, what i mean is a big building with nothing in it, it needs 3 times more play stuff. I enquired about a party and the girl had little idea. It took ages to serve a coffee and it was quiet so I dread to think if it was busy how long it would take. So in the future I'll stick to Leaps and bounds so my message is folkes don;t bother you're not missing out on much. PS take a jumper it was cold.

Must be joking, I have been twice the first time my friends and I ordered food at the same time, my daughter and mine came 25 mins later after my friend had finished, but we are a friendly bunch and thought with them being new lets give them another go.... BIG MISTAKE yes the area was a bit busy but i had my two daughters with me one of them is only one (You still have to pay nearly £4.00 for her, normally £1 or free at other play areas)so i went in the bottom of the play area but got told to get out by a rude and arrogant bloke, thats fine if he had asked the other four parents to get off but he didnt. What did i pay for a one year old to do? The bloke should have been asking the bigger kids to calm down as they were hurting some little ones. My friends and I travel miles every week to play areas believe there are so many better ones then this, alot cheaper in entry, nicer food, better facilities and staff with customer service experience
