This is a child friendly hotel, with playroom, good sized garden, tea at 5pm, etc. BUT we have the following criticisms:
- the accommodation is overpriced for what it is, £120 per night is a lot of money.
- we had to leave early due to pregnancy-related illness. The owners were very reluctant to give us any discount on the second night, including meals.
- the children's bedroom has no natural daylight or natural ventilation.
- the prices for the drinks are not clearly marked at the bar but were added onto the end bill. The prices are harsh to say the least, e.g £4 a pint of basic lager.
We definitely wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
