This place has really gone down hill since last years visit, it costs £6.90 for adults (under 3s free) which is a complete rip off for what is on offer. The place is dirty, badly kept and stinks. The whole area needs a good clean up and grass needs cutting and play areas cleaning out. They seem to be making no effort at all to keep the place tidy and clean.
The animals do seem happy enough but it just isn't enough.
When i was in the toilet the knob fell of the bolt locking me in! ARGH! Though i was destined to stay there forever, fortunately my 2 year old found it and we managed to escape!
I overheard staff complaining and saying maybe they should let the sheep out to graze the play areas! They just don't seem to be bothered and seems like a big hassle for them.
Shan't be visiting again.

My 2 had a great time here! :-) Their favourite thing by far was feeding the animals - you can buy a pot of food (cabbage, carrots, etc) for 60p (with a refund of 10p when you give the empty pot back). They loved feeding the many rabbits and a guinea pig or two. They weren't too keen on the wandering goat, and Abi (2) hated the parrots! We were very impressed by the increase in the number of animals and play areas since we last visited a few years ago. Ben (5 1/2) particularly liked the ball pool in the cafe area. They had pony rides while we were there, which neither of my children tried, but I think Abi will try when she is older - looked great fun. There are good paths for pushchairs which is useful. Overall - we had a really nice day out. Only downside was entry price, and by the time I'd bought a few pots of food, and some rather expensive sandwhiches and souvenirs I was feeling rather broke!!

Enjoyed a few hours visit here. Our son (23 months) wasn't in the best of moods and was a bit tempremental but still managed to get some enjoyment out of it. He seemed to prefer to play with the crocodile toy we bought him on the way in (bit of a mistake - should have got it afterwards!) The bits he enjoyed the most were seeing the snakes and he actually touched them as well during a petting session.
He wasn't too bothered at this visit with the monkeys, wallabies, leopards, etc but we enjoyed those anyway. He spent a lot of time in the lower section of the wendy house, a couple of rocking horse type play things and spent a lot of time just running up and down the walkways. He stroked a goat and then decided the next minute he didn't like it. We stopped in the cafe for a drink and our son went in the soft ball play area which he thought was fun. They don't really offer much in the cafe other than soft drinks, crisps, cakes etc, no meals available. Some areas of the park are scruffy although they do seem to be spending a bit of money on it at the moment.
The baby changing area is adequate but basic.
The website is still saying it is £4.90 per adult but it was £6.00 per adult (under 3's go free) which i think is very pricey for this type of attraction when you compare it to other places we have visited in the UK.

Great family day out for all ages to enjoy. They have lots of domestic and exotic animals and a great picnic area towards the back of the park. Our son loved it when we took him when he was 15 months old and we will going back at regular intervals. Didn't experience toilet facilities so cannot comment on them. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our son's toddler group at nursery have also visited and had a great afternoon there.
