We have just had a fabulous weekend at Pencelli (2-4th May 2008) with 6 families with eleven children under 5 and we all had a marvellous time. Facilities are fantastic - cleaned every day and immaculate. There are fridges and freezers which is handy for storing meat and milk for milk guzzling little ones - we even left food in fridges across the three days and it stayed there all weekend. Other guests at the campsite were friendly and it was unexpectedly easy - even with so many young children. Family bathrooms have nappy changing facilities and there is a hot drink vending machine available for when its too much trouble to boil the kettle! The outside play area is great and we had a lovely walk down by the canal (next to campsite) looking for bugs and seeing the sheep and horses in fields nearby. The local pub (The Royal Oak) had a good garden and good food but does not serve food until 6.30pm so better for adults than children. WE are deinately planning to go back in August!
