PLAYZAR
the roundel falkirk, Falkirk
Type of place: Soft Play/Cafe

Reviews and details of facilities:

Playzar is one of the best play areas around, my only faults are that my 12 year old son is not allowed to play with his younger brothers who are 2, 4 and 6, and there is no security at the exit doors, and due to the layout of the place the kids could get out before you'd even know

As a mum of 4 kids (twins at 5, and boys at 3 and 10 months), I find Playzar a great place to go to for a treat. It is a bit expensive, but there is loads to do. There are loads of different sized slides. There's an area with ride on cars and giant lego sized bricks. There is a very small knee high slide which is perfect for my 10 month old. I feel very relaxed when I'm there, as I can usually see where all of them are from my table. The toilets and in great view so I can see if they're taking to long! Food is great. Last visit I bought a pitcher of sugar free diluting juice with ice for £1.75 and it last the full session and my kids had at least 3 cups each. Would definatley recommend it.

Good place, as for other reviewers I like that you can go in with the kids. The play frame is big and as it is realtively long and thin you can nearly always see your kids while they play. There is more for smaller ones to do than at some other soft play places as they have wee ride on toys. Only two criticisms. One is the catering - could be healthier with more fruit/ dried fruit and fresh fruit juice rather than the ubiquitous and awful fruit shoots. Staff usually friendly and helpful. Second is that it gets very hot when it is sunny and they don't seem to be able to ventilate the building. Facilties always clean when I've been there. Baby change is a bit away from the play area so tricky if you are on your own with two kids.

A BRILLIANT place to visit with the kids, i have 4 boys, from 18 mths to 11 yrs, so finding somewhere to entertain them all can be difficult, but playzar also has a room with a pool table and air hockey, reasonably priced to get in, food priced ok, i've seen worse, but definetely a great place to take your kids.

Fantastic. The staff were friendly, the facilities were spotlessly clean. My 3 year old loved it and because parents can go in (thank goodness) my 1 year old also had a great time. Would recommend it to anyone

Absolutely brilliant. My 2 year had ball. It wasn't too big so he was able to climb up himself which gave 5 mins to myself. Parents were allowed in as well (highly recommend the wavy slides!!)

Fabulous softplay with a space theme. £4.50 for a 2 hour session. Very comfotable surroundings with brilliant food at reasonable prices. Very clean toilets and nappy change. My daughter aged 3 loved it whilst my wife stayed in bed - I was pleasantly suprised how many other dads go with their children - I even managed to read the newspaper in peace. Very effiencient staff, friendly and polite. They even helped me get my daughters shoes on when we were leaving. Fantastic place and I'd recommend everyone in the area to try it. Falkirk has been crying out for a place like this for youngsters!
