This pub is set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside 100yds from Mobberley train station which makes it an ideal retreat from busy Altrincham.
The food is home made pub grub with a wide selection. If you just fancy egg and chips - ask! We've always found the staff happy to cook something that is not on the menu if they have the request in stock.
Children are very welcome, there are high chairs, a drop down changing table, kids menu and an old play area outside which adds to its charm. The garden is large and away from the road. There are no time restrictions with regards to children and we have never felt under scrutiny or made to feel uncomfortable with our three children in tow - even when we had an impromptu family sports day in the garden!
This is not a trendy place - but an old fashioned pub where kids and animals are welcome...and you can even take the other half!!
