so nice to go somewhere that children are given proper food - in amller portions - and not the usually rehashed rubbish that is normally served as a childrens menu. Staff were very helpful and accomadating - even took our noise brood off to visit the toy shop next door. What a pleasure Thankyou and well done Fat Fowl.

We visited the Fat Fowl for a family lunch yesterday(3 kids age 7, 8, 12 and 4 hungry adults). As the previous review states they don't really have a child menu, when the kids didn't really fancy anything available a very helpful member of staff came out and offered some more childfriendly options at smaller portions(sausage and roast potatoes with veg and gravy). The kids really enjoyed the food and seemed to enjoy their time there. They also brought out a large puzzle to keep the kids busy which they really enjoyed. I have had puddings here before which are delicious. The meal in total was quite expensive and the live music was slightly intrusive but I was extremely impressed by how flexible, attentive and helpful the staff were. If only other places were this friendly. Their website is here http://www.fatfowl.com/index.php
