Big playcentre but also dirty, unhygienic and costly, with very little being done about kids fighting and biting on a few occasions.
I don't look for top quality 'restaurant' food at a kids centre but the food was like rubber and very expensive. A very thin slice of chocolate cake that I regularly buy in morrisons for more than the price as the entire cake. They must be cutting a good 8 slices from this! Now That's some markup.
I was also informed at the door that I could get a kids meal included in the entry price however they refused to tell me what food they had until I had 'paid in and then I could see the menu'. Not the most friendly of staff either. (I can only imagine the above review comes from a Pirate Pete employee).
As well as this the ladies toilets were very very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
I would suggest that anyone else looking for a kids playcentre in Scotland visit Planet Play in Barrhead for clean and modern equipment, The Big Adventure in Linwood for Friendly staff and pricing and finally Funworld in Greenock for great food and a bit of variety in the equipment (bouncy castles, bouncy chutes, basketball etc.

An absolutely fantastic, huge, indoor play centre for kids with loads of different sections for different skill levels but easy to switch between them. Climbing, bouncy castle, ball pits, slides, chutes, nets, foam guns, etc. Parents can go in too to look after young ones. I took my one year old and we had a total ball of a time. The seating area, coffee, food, etc. could be better to keep mum comfortable for longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nappy changing facility was OK.
