we visited here in October 05 and would go along with last review, I wonder if it has been taken over since being put on site and the new owners are not taking the child friendly line. Although we took our 18 month old son in and had a pot of tea in the lounge but saw no signs of being it being child orientated

Unfortunately, the children's facilities here have all gone to be replaced by what looks like another dining room/conference facilitiy. All that's left is the chldren's menu. :-(

We did not find this hotel as child friendly as it advertised. Radiators so hot that they burnt you when you touched them - no radiator covers, even in the nursery; Hot water on the bath scalding hot; no bath mats and bath very slippery; childrens menu only between 5p.m and 5:45p.m - not sure what kids are meant to do for lunch! No kids in the restaurant; low window sills, which my 2 year old easily climbed onto and no locks or restricters on the windows; bedroom very small; attitude of staff not helpful & did not seem welcoming to kids. Need I go on!

This hotel offers parents a relaxing retreat where children are warmly welcomed. The excellent family facilities include a fully supervised nursery, free of charge and open daily, a Cyber room for the older children, baby listening, baby sitting and childrens' teas. There are also lots of family friendly attractions nearby e.g Cotswold Water Park.
