We had a really lovely day out here. The park itself is free entry and has great modern equipment, my children loved the zip wire the best. It is a really well thought out park and the kids really loved it. There are playing fields surrounding the area so you can sit back and relax whilst your children play happily in the park. There is plenty of space to have picnics, play cricket, football etc. Lots of families seemed to come equipped with gasibos also. There is a cafe right next to the park as well as clean toilets with baby changing.

There is plenty of grounds to walk around, with woodland and lakes. Unfortunately we couldn't go into the house as it was their AGM but we did visit the walled gardens which the children even enjoyed especially when they saw a very tame rabbit (don't think the gardener's would be so happy as it was chomping away on the plants!)

There are lots of family friendly events throughout the year.
