A great place for the kids to enjoy, made even better that the abbey was used in the Harry Potter Films. The cloisters are lovely to walk around and to fire up children's imaginations and the grounds provide a large area for kids to let off some steam. From here you can also wander into the village where numerous tv programmes (including recent filmings of Cranford)have been filmed. The area is all on the flat so is fine for buggies.
